Показана возможность изучения на основе анализа акустических параметров ЖК эмульсий характеристик фазового перехода нематик – изотропная жидкость и критической динамики ЖК в каплях микронных и субмикронных размеров.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The velocity of propagation and the coefficient of absorption of ultrasound, at frequency 2.7 MHz, in emulsions of liquid crystal (LC) N96 in water has been studied using samples with sizes of droplets in the range from 200 to 5000 nm (sample I) and from 200 to 1500 нм (sample II). The possibility of an acoustic study of characteristics of phase transition from nematic to isotropic phase and critical dynamics of LC in droplets of both microns and submicrons sizes is shown using analyze of ultrasound characteristics of LC emulsions.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>жидкокристаллические эмульсии</kwd><kwd>капли жидких кристаллов</kwd><kwd>ультразвуковые исследования</kwd><kwd>фазовые переходы</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Crawford G.
